and training specialists are experienced in many of the industry-standard
problem solving methodologies including 8D, 5D, 7D, DMAIC, PPS, PDCA, and A3.
While all of them are good, for the majority of manufacturing and service
organizations, we generally recommend the 8D method. What is most important is
to establish a common problem solving language for your organization.
